A little about me.

Hello all, my name is Trent Garner.

I am twenty-two and currently living in Pittsburgh, PA. I am ambitious and imaginative, and tend to get along with most people I meet.

Enough of that though, now to what’s important. I am a writer and have strived to put to paper the greatest tales my mind can fabricate. To this end I desire to draw my audience into realms of my forging and express to everyone what I have been thinking.

I am mostly a fantasy writer as that is what I like to work with, though I have also written science fiction, drama, and a little comedy, but comedy is hard.

In the real world the only events of impressive note are matters concerning life and death. So then to become a great writer it would seem that I would need to fill my pages with countless miracles, but that is not correct. Just because the closest we can get to fantasy is through such experiences does not mean that there is nothing worth writing of outside of this. Truly there are infinite experiences within life that leave us with a strong feeling, a feeling that supersedes our desire for adventure. I am speaking of those moments that make you feel alive and glad of it. Whether it is sitting with a friend under an awning during a rain storm, the first time you run from the police, or simply revisiting your childhood hiding place a decade later. These moments have nothing fantastical in them, yet it is the utter reality of them that leaves one nostalgic, and in doing so completely human. I love adventure and I love the small instances of fantasy in this world even more, but what I dream of most is that feeling, that indescribable, mind blowing sensation that everything is perfect. And, that is what I wish to grasp and translate into the words to share with my audience. Because it is entirely human to have something that makes you feel perfect.
